Nike Tiempo FG
The Tiempo is the mid-priced ($85) version of the Legend. It is the same basic design including the very soft kangaroo upper and heel counter. The Tiempo gives up the Zoom Air module in the mid-sole and a significant amount of long wear comfort.
Like the Legend, these boots are a mid width boot that falls between the Total 90 wider design and the Vapor narrow boots. The two testers that worked with these boots have very different feet. One is a dedicated fan of the Nike Vapors. The other prefers the traditional style of the adidas Copa. Both agreed that this is solid alternative.
This is a great boot for the coach, trainer, or club player. In fact, they would work for almost anyone that does not run as much or doesn’t want to spend the extra money. The legend cleat pattern, external heel counter and leather upper make for a long lasting boot. What they give up in long distance comfort, they make up for in value.
