Niky Sports is one of the few soccer specific stores in the Antelope Valley and a growing retailer throughout Los Angeles.  Nikys opened their first store over 20 years ago.  They now have six stores and a small on-line storefront.  Prices are near list, but it is the only place to sit down and try on a variety of top shelf boots and gloves.

The selection is limited to current year products and some high end/low volume items (like keeper gloves) are often out of stock.  They do have a fairly knowledgeable staff and are very helpful in selecting the right boot.  They also provide information on what is getting returned.  Of the two AV stores, I find Total Soccer to be the easier place to shop.

They also offer a good selection of replica kit, posters, knickknacks and other paraphernalia, making Nikys an easy place to find presents and little rewards.  The locations can be found here.

We have had a few problems with items purchased in the past.  They have been willing to help, even if it was not purchased from one of their stores.  This always earns points in my book.  Also, I prefer to support local businesses.  If the price is the same (or close), I would rather buy something from a store I can return it to than have to deal with shipping it back.
