Epic soccer is a mid-level (measured by catalog line items) online catalog retailer that offers a combination of private label equipment and name brand equipment.  The site is well designed and items are easy to find.  Selection is limited and prices are about average.

In the distant past, we have purchased several items from Epic including keeper gloves and keeper kit.  The gloves were some of the first boned gloves available from an off brand.  They were about 1/3 the cost of the major brands and functioned well for the time.  The kit was oversized and heavy although it was very durable.

In the present, little has changed.  They continue to offer lower cost private label items at a good value and mid-tier brand names.  Brands such as Kelme, Lotto and Select are available, but Nike, adidas and Puma are all but absent.   Unfortunately, Epic has not kept up with the times.  The same gloves we purchased years ago are still offered at the same price.  The selection is limited and not as organized as it could be.  Information on some items is inadequate or non-existent.  Items often appear under multiple categories.

Our online order was placed with no issues.  We ordered several items from different manufactures.   The shopping experience is simple and friendly.  Checkout was also simple.  Epic also has a points program to encourage return purchasers.

That is where the pleasant experience ended for us.  There is no order or shipment tracking available.  At this point, FedEx, UPS, and even the USPS offer enough tools so there are no excuses any more.  Our items were shipped directly from the manufactures.  One item arrived damaged, but functional (a book).  While it is not the fault of Epic Soccer, it does reflect poorly on them.  This is a potential problem with all pass through retailers.  Stores maintaining their own inventory have more control over the packing and shipping of items.

Epic Soccer claims to be one of the largest sources of soccer equipment in the US.  They have been around longer than many other e-tailers and provide a variety of items.  I find their claim of 20%-60% discounts to be difficult to support.  Epic also offers baseball equipment.
