Reusch Entrario HG Ortho-Tec

The Entrario ($75) gloves are designed for hard ground and indoor play using a more durable form of latex called R1.  These gloves are stiff and uncomfortable, but extremely durable.

AVID Soccer Reusch Entrario HG Ortho-TecR1 Supersolid is an adhesive latex.  Adhesive latex, contrary to the name is not sticky.  The surface is bumpy and somewhat slick.  It provides very little wet grip.  They also provide very little cushion.  It is; however, extremely durable.  After more than a 10 hours of practice time, the gloves show almost no wear.

The rest of the Entrario HG Ortho-Tec's construction is strictly beginner level.  The Ortho-Tec bones are not removable and include a thumb bone.  This can be uncomfortable to players unaccustomed to it.  The expanse cut of the gloves is standard design and includes ventilation.  The backhand is a soft PVC.  The closure is the standard bandage type.

In general, we have found these gloves to be very good practice gloves.  The price seems high for the comfort and grip, but the durability makes the R1 Supersolid latex a must for indoor play.  As a practice glove, they can be uncomfortable.  The bones are poorly padded and the fingers are stiff, but again, the durability can not be ignored.  For a player that participates in indoor and outdoor games or one who plays on very hard ground, they are worth considering.
