The Nike Classic ($10) is a game day or practice sock available in several solid colors.  The only decoration is the Swoosh, so the can be paired with almost any uniform.

It might seem like socks are socks.  In general, that is true within a price point.  The biggest difference is usually style and color.  Inexpensive socks (less than $8) are usually knit with non-wicking fibers and poor elastic.  This is fine for recreational players, but they don't hold up at higher levels of play.  The top tier, match level socks (more than $15) are made of advanced fibers, vary the thickness for more padding, venting or additional support.  The Classic falls between these groups.

The socks are available in black, green, navy, royal, powder, white, burgundy, red and yellow.  They do not have any of the features of the top match level socks.  They do have all of the quality and durability to deserve their name.  The weave is strong enough to be taped repeatedly without snagging.  The elastic is strong enough to stay up for a full season.  The Classic is definitely a classic.
