While it might look like we have are behind on our product reviews, AVID Soccer is hard at work.  March 1st, we will expand our coverage of off-pitch gear with a new category: Lifestyle.

All of us live for the game.  Unfortunately most of us spend far too much time way from the pitch.  To help fill that gap, we will begin testing and reviewing off-pitch apparel and gear. In addition to the usual durability, maintenance and usability testing, we will also present more qualitative results. Focus group opinions and style factors will play a larger role. After all, lifestyle is all about style.

Products covered will include items for soccer players and soccer families. Covered equipment includes:

• Clothes (jackets, shirts, shorts)
• Shoes (training, street soccer, pre/post game)
• Accessories (Electronics, hats, bags)

We have already finished testing enough products to fill the launch week.  As a sneak peek, we have jacket, shoes, sunglasses, and an MP3 player all lined up for publication.  We will continue to add products throughout the year.
