As the first item we are testing in our new Lifestyle category, the Benty ($50) from Calle was hand selected.  One of our testers laid claim to this hoodie even before the it arrived at AVID Soccer.  We have hardly seen it since.

The Benty is a zippered hoodie with the Calle script logo on the front and the signature dead pidgeon on the back.  Available in white/blue or heather/dark gray, the construction is first rate.  The hoodie is an all cotton fleece item made in the USA.  The logos are screened in a core color with a accented border. 

The colors of the white/blue jacket grabbed our attention and that of our entire female test force.  It has held up to two weeks of high school and continues to get noticed.  It is comfortable and as warm as expected.  The Benty runs true to size and is well fitted.  This jacket is on par with anything from Hollister, AE or A&F.

We don't know the whole story behind the dead pidgin or even if it is really dead.  It is the X for an eye that gives us that idea.  We do know that the everyone thinks it is cool.  It is bit reminiscent of the Partridge family.  From the Calle website: "When Pigeons are your audience."
