Protime Sports Brooklyn/Denver Kit
The Brooklyn Kit ($35) is another recreation/select level package that combines and interesting style with a wicking fabric. The lightweight kit comes in 18 jersey color combinations and four short colors.
The Brooklyn is a multi-color jersey constructed of two different fabrics. The main body is a woven polyester that is both light and breathable. The accent panels are made of a lighter/tighter weave. All of our testers liked the swirling side panels. The jersey also has a small piping accent along the sleeves. The collar is unique. It is a rounded vee that is very easy to get on and off. It also has a layered accent that is sewn in. Oddly, it does not go all the way around and is not finished on the end. It is simply an open fabric tube.
The color combinations are strictly one way with white/black - black/white being the only home and away combination. Teams wishing to use two jersey's may want to select a team color and white/black or silver/black and use black shorts for both home and away.
All of the materials are light and breathable. We found the fabric wicked away moisture even in very hot/sweaty conditions. However, the fabric does not dry quickly and holds the sweat in the fabric. This is not a problem in hot dry conditions, but could be uncomfortable in high humidity or cooler temperatures.

The Denver shorts are on the longer side with a seven inch inseam. They are constructed of the same wicking material as the jersey. They have a wave like accent panel on each side adding a bit of style over the solid colors. They are available in red, blue, royal, navy and black and can be paired with any of the jersey styles to complete a kit.

The Pro Sock is an upgrade from the All Sport that is standard in the kits. They are 100% nylon and have a sturdier feel. They would be fine for game only/single season at the recreational or Jr. High/High School level. We would not recommend them for year round play.
