Century Jasper Kit
The fourth in our series on the Century Soccer line of generic uniforms. The Jasper (N/A) is not available in a home/away package as many of the other Century kits. It is a two piece Jersey/short kit available in 11 colors. The uniforms are made of a lightweight elastic and mesh fabric.
This kit consists of a team color jersey with a white accent mesh panel at the shoulder and a heat transfer racing stripe down the middle. The transfer is black/team color/white pinstripe. There are no socks included. The body of the jersey is an elastic polyester fabric. This kit features an vee neck collar. It is comfortable and easy to get on/off. The shorts do not have any mesh
The design is comfortable and breaths better than the elastic fabrics. The shorts are on the longest of the Century kit we have tested. Style wise, these are our favorite shorts. Like all of Century's kits, the Jasper does not use flat seams; however, since there are few panels, this is not an issue.
In general, the is a mid quality kit. There are eleven colors: burgundy/white; forest/white; orange/white; navy/white; red/white; pink/white; neon/white; sky/white; white/black; yellow/white; royal/white available in sizes from Y8 (youth extra small) to XXL (adult XXL). The sizes run slightly large. Our test kit was sized XXL. We compared the dimensions against the other kits we received. It is obvious that only the width of jersey is larger. This means that the collar in the XXL is the same size as the collar in the small making this uncomfortable in the larger sizes.
Unfortunately, we were unable to get a price list from Century, so we can not evaluate the value. We ran this kit through several wash/dry cycles and found it held up well. There was no change to the color or stretch fabric.
