adidas Predator Flame Woven Warm-ups

This has to be one of the coolest looking track suits we have seen.  Available as red/white/gold or black/gold, the Predator ($75/$45) jacket/pants have all of the features of the top flight team gear.

AVID Soccer Equipment Review adidas Predator Flame Track SuitContinuing our back to school theme, we have to ask... Who has the self image to wear a bright red and white track suit with gold stripes.  Add the flame job and you need the ego (and skills) of Michael Ballack.  Still, there is no doubt that this suit grabs everyone's attention.  Our tester's universally loved the style.  Everyone wanted to try it, but no one wanted to wear it to school.  Several of our testers wished that they played on a team with these colors to justify wearing it.  We have to wonder if the Chicago Fire will be seen in these next season.

The black/gold version is a different story.  While we didn't have an example to test, it appears to be a more subtle.  Black warm-ups can be used with almost any team colors.  The flames add a punch to the design and help a team stand out, especially if they are called the fire, heat, burn, flames, et al.  One note on the flames:  The pictures we used make them look much more obvious than they are.

Construction of this track suit is first rate.  The outer is made of adidas climacool.  Climacool is a 100% polyester performance fabric.  The entire suit is lined with a netting that adds structure and weight.  The jacket and pants can be purchased separately.  The jacket has vents at the shoulders and under the arms.  It has zippered slash pockets.  There is an embroidered adidas tri-stripe logo on the front and current teamgeist logo on the back.  The pants have vents at the waist.  There are zippered seam pockets and a zipper at the bottom of the leg for easy removal over boots.  The pants also have an embroidered adidas tri-stripe logo.
