AVID Soccer 2008 Most Innovative Product Nominees

Each year, the innovative product awards represent the newest thinking and most important advancements in our sport.  This year, we have three very different nominees.  This year, we present a training tool, a new take on boots and an adaptive ball.

The criteria of for this award is simple: What product will make the biggest difference to the sport of soccer over the next few years.  Our nominees represent different parts of the game:

Lotto Twist'n'Go Cleat system

The Twist'n'Go is a stud that rotates in the ground to allow the player to pivot without losing grip or tearing up the field.

Puma d3o adaptive material

The top flight Puma 1.08 ball is covered in an adaptive polymer that allows the surface to be stiff against a hard strike and soft against a light touch.

Soccer Wall T-man Training Mannequin

The T-man is a light weight surrogate player that can be used for set plays, walk-throughs, training, et al.
